I have got several calls from this number some camel jock sounding guy that says my computer is hacked and I said no it is not but you are trying to do that. He has called back he is from Microsoft on and on He repeated a IP number but I do not know if it is and said my id Microsoft and it was all numbers. Do not give any infor out I did not.
It is indeed a scam. They want to fix my computer because of an error that Microsoft noticed. Right!? I told him that I was not falling for his scam and to stop calling me. Reported the number again on the do not call site.
This phone number has been calling me incessantly. I have called him out on the scam, criticized him, etc. The guy is a jerk. When I finally cursed him out, he repeatedly kept calling my number. Criminals. How can this be tracked down? Apparently it cannot but this number needs to be disabled.
Do Not Call does not seem to be of any help. I tried to report this to the FCC to no avail. This number needs to be universally blocked, but of course, the scammer can easily generate a new one.
Calls from this number displays unknown name almost daily! I decided to answer the caller to tell the person to take me off their list. But a recording comes on and says "goodbye". So annoying when the phone rings at 6 a.m.!
