I got a similar phone voicemail recording from Judy Smith from US Treasury that I did not reply to a tax petition. This is a final notice and if I do not answer p, then I will be arrested and appeared to the Supreme Court. The recording left me a phone # 773-225-3588 to call back. I knew it was a fraud coz IRS always send penalty or petition by mail never phone call. if it was truly IRS , they should be able to obtain my work # or cell #.
Scam scam scam. Answers the phone as "U.S. Treasury Department" Spoke to a representative with a heavy northern Indian or Pakistani accent who claimed his name was "Roy Miller". The person told me that I was going to be arrested for unpaid taxes. He really had me going for a minute until I gave the phone to my husband who asked them to give the full name and social security number of the person they were trying to reach. "Roy Miller" put my husband on hold and then the line went dead.
So evil I can't even believe it. I hope these people will die horrible fiery drawn-out deaths as a result of drug resistant syphillis.
I knew it was scam so I toyed with him a bit. I didn't give my name and said I wanted to pay my debt. He didn't even ask for my name, just wanted credit card info. Gave him fake numbers. As the call went along I asked how he sleeps at night trying to fraud people out of their money. He proceeded to tell me that Americans are a pile of dog [***] and its easy to take their money because their so stupid. He went on with his anti-American rant and said when he steps on me because im a pile of [***], he will wipe me off the bottom of his foot with an American flag....Be Careful..
Scam. Computerized voice claiming to be Judy Smith of the IRS; message stated that I'd be arrested if I didn't pay my bill. The IRS doesn't operate this way at all. Final notices never come over the phone and I have no problems with any government organization so I knew it was fake. Don't bother replying to them!
