This person had a posting on the Houston craigslist site saying they have QuickBooks for sale for $60.00.  They act like they are located in your city but they actually have a LA phone number.  He wanted me to send the money first, then he would send me the license number & product number so I could download it.  I was apprehensive so I let it alone.  About a month later, I still needed QuickBooks and ironically I get a text saying he still has QuickBooks.  I agreed to buy it and at first he wanted to install it himself using Teamviewer.  That scared me so I told him no, I would download it myself.  He assured me this was his independent version of QuickBooks.  He then sent me a link which downloaded a program called WeTransfer on my computer.  Had nothing to do with QuickBooks.  I texted him asking him to just send me the license number and I would go to the QuickBooks site and download it myself.  He texted me back some incomplete text saying the files were in the link.  They were not in the link.  I believe they were having me load this program called WeTransfer so they could ultimately have control of my computer.  Get a job, you idiots!  Oh wait...that is your job!   I googled his phone number only to discover that there are several responses from people indicating that this phone number is associated with spammers & scammers.  $60.00??  Seriously!  These guys will rip you off for a mere $60.00 then move on to the next guy.  It was all BS.  This is a rip off!  The phone number is 323-412-0154 and the email address is [email protected].  Don't fall for it!  Good luck.
