Got a call from what appeared to me to be a robo-caller, but appeared to actually be a live person trying to solicit funds for a police organization. I interrupted and asked to be removed from his "hit list" and he humg up. I blocked this number. What good does the "Do Not Call" list do if there are no consequences for violating it?
If you do answer, listen to their spiel then inform them that under California law you must inform that you are recording this call. And that you are forwarding the tape to the AG. They will remove your number from their list.
