I have been receiving unsolicited calls from the area code 323 and the prefix 471 (and various permutations of the last four digits) for several months. This is not a local area code. I do not answer calls from unknown people, however I expect that if someone actually wants to talk to me, he/she can easily leave a message, and whoever keeps calling from (323) 471-8909, 1-323-471-7722, etc. refuses to leave a voicemail.
