I got that same email today. I went to the IRS website and reported it as phishing. They have a page that tells you where to report anyone who says they represent the IRS or also if they are not representing the IRS ( but refers to income tax filings, etc.)
They called saying to get ready with my lawyer to fight a case for fees that I supposedly owe from 5-6 years ago and to get ready to pay 4206 not including lawyer fees. Same company called two different times last year to collect debt for a different company and sadly i paid over so much to them.
Alright, Get ready with your attorney to fight the case against company because we are going to download your case file and you are going to be legally prosecuted in the Court House within couple of days.
So don’t ignore our notification immediately contact us thru email or call us +1 323 473 3155 your debt and close this case file.
We would like to tell you if Once this case is downloaded then you have to bear a lawsuit amount of $4206.00.

I have received a total of 16 emails from ACS attorney. The heading is always The Federal Debt Collection Act (Lawsuit) Criminal Docket Number.
There has never been a address or phone number attached to any of these emails. When i emailed them back due to my identity has been stolen in the past year i got no why don't you give us your number and we will have our accounting office call you. Well dip [***] if this was real wouldn't you have my phone number already, but no i wanted to see if they would give me a number and they gave me a number of 323-473-3155. So i blocked my number and it rang and rang then was ignored and sent to voicemail with a Indian accent speaking person. Well sorry guys you cant fool me. So i did inform them through email once again that i was forwarding this to my credit bureaus and that i was also sending it to my attorney and our state general attorney office that i am working with on this fraud case. Well it have been about 2 hours now and have not heard back from them again.
