I've been receiving a call a day from this number. When I answer it, no one is on the line - if I don't answer it they leave no message. I'd like to know who they are and where they live so I can take them some cookies!!
I've been getting calls from this number every night at about the same time for about a week (8/23-8/26, around 8:00p.m.). They claim to be doing a survey on behalf of the Centers For Disease Control concerning the flu. I just hang up on them, but on two occasions, after I hung up on them, they called back several minutes later. Now, I just let the machine pickup. They don't call back after that. BTW, it's not a recording; it's a live person at the other end.
I have just filed a complaint on this number with the governments do not call website - here is the link -https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx - I noted to them the following: this is another in a series of calls from this area code and phone exchange, they either continue to call and not leave a message or if you pick up, they hang up? Maybe, just maybe, if everyone who gets one of these nuisance calls would file a complaint, they might get fined or shutdown.
Continued calls from this number they ask for a woman when I say wrong number they ask for my name. I hung up but have received several more calls which I ignored
