That is no true at all! Its only a matter of time when a person gets illegal calls simply said. The list is only sold to verified legitimate business's who have to pay for it. And yes, they do enforce the DNC. All the illegal callers both foreign and domestic - all they have to do is plumb a set of numbers into computers or robo dialers. Those do not recognize any list or unlisted number. Stop spreading myths! Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers and foreign scammers.
Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Sounds like a room full of people in the background but nobody speaks to me and then I hear the hang-up. Have received call several times over last few days. First 2 I did not answer. How do they benefit from this activity?
