I'm currently selling items on a local free web-site, this person texted me showing interest in my item but stated that I would have to receive a code in-order to prove I am real. It made me laugh as I tried to get info from the person but they clam to be Julia, the person stated that I will receive a call with a code, which did happen at which point they asked me for the code come on people how stupid can you be to even fall for this trick.

By the way... the number that called was 415-689-7515 which is another California number,....... just a friendly reminder to you fine folks out there, phone call/text code verification is a commonly used method of verify everything from your email account to your paypal/bank account, always remember what you have used your phone number for, whether is to verify email account or bank account, do NOT give anyone a verification code, its a sure fire way of losing your identity and/or having your accounts hacked.
