Your post here will NOT stop the calls. We did not call you. Your caller probably does not read these messages.The Do Not Call list is respected by legitimate telemarketers, but is ignored by criminals.YOU are the best defense against unwanted calls! You can use a call blocking app, device, or service to block such calls.

This number called our business today at 1034 hours. The caller ID said "Los Angeles CA" so I knew there was a 99% chance it was a scam artist. I picked up the phone but said nothing. This usually - but not always - prevents idiot-messages from being activated. After a long, silent pause the call disconnected. I'm sure the scam artist will call back though, again and again, because criminals apparently don't have anything better to do. I blocked my phone number and called the number back. A message immediately picked up saying if I want for them to stop calling from that particular number, to press one. I pressed one to see what would happen and a message apologized and promised to stop calling within 48 hours. Yeah, and I bet they have a bridge they can sell me too, because my number was blocked so how could it know what number to stop calling? All the signs of a scam artist. I have to wonder if they're using an alleged "LA" phone number because some flighty, gullible people might think it was "Hollywood" calling them or some such nonsense.
