Yep, most posters here do not read answers.
They seem to prefer posting their plight -- perhaps to gain sympathy, get attention, or waste electrons.
Maybe they think, since their post was merely a finger exercise, and nobody posts good information on the internet, they could safely ignore applicable answers?

Big scam. A guy with a heavy accent called and said he was calling from Microsoft Window saying he got my number from my computer ID and said I need to update something. He was trying to give me instruction as to how I could do that when I told them Microsoft never calls their customers, he hung up the phone.
Technical support scam, basically they remote access your computer by tricking you into them giving access by saying firewall protections is down. Will use scare tactics then lock you out of your computer in order for you to pay ransom for them to unlock it. Also with probably try and steal your identity. Do not believe a word and hang up.
