Called once and hung up. No VM.

Seems like a broken autodialer - it only rings once or twice and hangs up.
Maybe they are trying to avoid charges from voicemail answering.

same here, called a couple of times over the course of a few weeks. rings once, I won't be calling them back now that I know it won't help and might cost me!

When they only let it ring once, or twice then hang up... chances are they are looking for live numbers to sell.   I hope there is a special kind of hell just for these people.
