Just received a call stating that I owed a payday loan from 2013 and they could not tell me the name of their company nor the name of the payday loan company I owed money to. They refused to send me any documentation very nasty insisting that I take care of it now or fight it out with the state.
Same here the gentlemen I spoke to said his name was Michael Burris went into alot of stuff and said I took out either a payday loan or a cash advance and it was supposently charged off he said back in Feb 2014. He went into giving me my personal info address, last for of my bank acct and Soc Sec number and my bday which has me freaked the [***] out so he went on to tell me that if I made this 1 time oh my of like 750 it would exonerate me and save me like 61% off bc the actual bill was 1928 dollar a and went on to pretend to transfer the call to some lady by the name of Leslie Stephens she went on to start talking and I cut her off and asked specifically what the bill was for at which she transferred me back to him and then I went back to her and she said they wouldn't except any payment unless it was by money gram. Then I new it was a crock the dam guy even went on to give me a case number with his number and ext which was for Ohio and when that lady wanted me to pay she gave me her name again and told me step by step where to send it how to send it a receive code but it was going to have to be called in after I sent it and also pay 10 dollar for them to get it. She gave me a 888420 0532 number with an ext of 6309 to send it to her and that number when checked into is for Jacksonville go. So why are they calling from Ohio then asking to have this money sent to this [***] place through a shady system and give me a callback number for them for a Jacksonvilee area. I asked why I never received anything through the mail the like dude said they have sent me 4or 5 certified letters about it and I never received shot I have lived in my home for 10yrs and have the same mail man and he don't have a clue what there talking about. Just a [***] scam. Seeing alot on here. I am you g to the bank tomorrow and calling Soc sec office in regards to this [***]. He wanted me to give him my full Soc number and I said no bc you should no it if you have all this info and if this was for something I actually have done my acct with my bank would have been on file. It's just so sad bc they probably have tried this to so many people espically elderly. Just sad.
Wow that's what they did to me but they couldn't tell me if it was a payday loan or a cash advance. They told me they would send out the cops to arrest me and I would have to fight the state attorney general's office. Then when I asked at the end of it all where and when do I get a receipt bc they didn't even no who it was for they said it would be sent by email and I forgot they had that to. They told me at first it was a guy by the name of Michael Burris he gave me a case number for this thing I owe but couldn't tell me who I owed this money to then said pay a lower amount now and won't be arrested or have to go to jail and court and also transferred me as if it was like somewhere else but the [***] was in the same room she said I had to pay the amount to United financial which I looked up and it shows a United financial LLC not just a United Financial she gave me all this info bc I was not allowed to pay it with a debit or credit or even a money order I had to pay it only with cash through money gram or I think a western union which I new it was bs. But it still got me shaken some. No debt collection service that is for real and backed by the BBB is going to tell you that you can only pay with cash through a western union. So I will be taking care of this tomorrow morning.
I received a call from this number under caller i.d it was legal proscessin, told me I had a loan for 988$ from an address I havent lived at in almost 10 years! Said it was 2014. Told them i would call them back so I could check my credit score and history report. Tried calling them back, phone just rang and no one answered. Auto response "good bye" was all I got from this number.
