Just received a call with a garbled message saying that if I didn't call back it would constitute me waiving my right to council...does anyone know who these people are? I get calls from scammers all day long!
So now they're claiming to represent something called "equity funding" for a past due pay day loan. They would not provide proof of debt and of course had all of my personal information. We'll file in ** county and you'll be subpoena'd back to testify on your own behalf in a criminal case. Then she goes on to say that I'll be "charged" with theft by deception and wire fraud...this exactly what the scammers say constantly...they're just using stupid americans to make the calls now instead of Indians
