Caller says he represents a legitimate charity to support the families of fallen police officers. If true, fine. But how do we know? I don't try to separate the "fly-[***] from the pepper" anymore. I tell every caller that I don't respond to unsolicited calls. I also tell them I will read whatever they send me by mail, but I will authenticate their charity before I consider donating to it. And no one ever sends me anything. I wonder why?
I am getting the same calls from this number. I just won't answer the phone but wow, they are persistent. No idea how they got my number because it's private. Thank you for all the comments. Very helpful and appreciated.
