Just received 3 phone calls in a row from this number. I answered the last one - only got, "this is Joe - Occupation" and then disconnected. I called the number back and it was answered, "are you there"? I saw on the news the other night that if you answer "yes" this is a new type of SCAM where by saying "yes" you are giving them permission to take money from you. Not sure how...but they steal your money. I hung up.
This caller has been calling me from several different numbers, it always has the same message when I call back, and I always add my number to the do not call list yet it keeps calling me, just from different numbers. Some career advisory center. ...I have a job I do not need these people, nor would I if I was looking for one.
If this number calls you, hang up. Call it back. You should receive an automated system that allows you to opt out of their call list.
These idiots have been calling me relentlessly from various local numbers (330/440/216 area codes). As I continued to block each number, "Joe" or "Amy" would call back again the next day from a different number. They're rude and confrontational and will not answer your questions, only want to know your information. They will hang up if you seem uninterested in their scam. Always call the number back after you hang up and have your number added to the Do Not Call list.
