Recieved a call to request donation, said it was Teddy bear for tots. Said we donatated last year. Never did, he got angry when asked how he got our phone number. I hung up and he called again, even angrier. When challenged him for his name and address he stated Michael Taylor and hung up. Reverse Lookup shows the call coming from Rootstown Oh.
Someone from this # 330-325-9192 calls almost daily. They either hang up on me or ask for spouse who I say is not home & I hang on him. The other day he calls with a pitch saying he is calling on behalf of the police for donations for our local police dept. I couldn't understand anything he said - he talked very fast. Then he told me he was sending me my 2007 donation envelope. I said no, we can't, and he hung up on me. I called the # back, and the # has been disconnected. Sounds like they are scamming money from people pretending to be the police. I am reporting this to the authorities.
