They called me about 8 o'clock at night I answered and they said they were doing a survey about politics in Ohio I told him I was not interested and hung up

I did not see the SSI pop up, had I have seen that, I probably would have picked up.  But i sent the call to voice mail, they didn't leave one, and Social Security would have left a message.  I'll block it.

They are very large and have many telephone numbers, and thus there are many complaints on 800notes.

They have a webpage with information on how to "opt out of getting calls from them" - it is worded to sound like they are doing this out of the goodness of their nosy corporate heart, but it's really because law and regulations require them to. Warning : after 5 years on their list, they can start calling the number given them. You will have to notify again.

Called Sunday afternoon at 3:41... caller ID said SSI... did not answer.  Will
have to block.  I had gotten an earlier "survey" call about an hour prior, but my grandson answered
it before I could tell him not to.  Since he told them he was not interested in taking
a survey, I'm wondering if this is what prompted this call from this number. .
