This number called twice while I was working and I won't answer. Also right before a 312 area code called. I never call back that is how they can Jack your cell phone.
This comes up as Wooster Ohio. As I'm from Ohio, but live in California I answered but didn't say anything. No one came on the line so I hung up. This will be blocked.
Of course it shows up as "disconnected". It is a "spoofed" number, that shows up on your call ID. It isn't real. That's how robocallers hide their identity. You can report this number all you want, but it won't do any good, because it isn't the number they are calling from. I can't understand while people even try to call back a number they don't know. If it was important, or even "real", they would leave a voice mail message, or at least have a true name of the organization show on caller ID..
Received a call, answered, and got a recording stating it was credit card services. If I wanted more info to press 1 so I did. (I always do, I try to make their lives miserable for interrupting my day) I was transferred to a live person (heavy accent so most likely not in this country) and I asked if he would remove my number from their call list. He hung up on me. I suspect they are phishing for names, socials, etc. leading you to believe they are going to give you better credit card interest rates.
