This is a broader "medical collection" company, possibly the "Revenue Group", a medical collection company with offices in the Cleveland/Akron area. I have never had medical services from Summa Health (or any of it's affiliated providers), but I just received a call from them. I do have some outstanding bills with Lake Health however.
So for the previous poster, Yes, this is a collection agency.
This is a legitimate collection agency for Summa Health/Physicians bills. They are polite, non harassing and do not leave messages in order to protect your privacy, especially when dealing with health issues that could be very sensitive.
I got a call from this number. I didn't answer, then checked the web. Found this site. The comment above from docket encouraged me to the number. It indeed is a legit collection agency for Summa Health, and I indeed had an account that was unpaid. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and genuinely helpful.
Yes, Agreed. Do not ignore this one. If you have an outstanding bill with Summa Health Systems, and have not set up a payment plan, they will continue to call. Unfortunately I cannot set up their "minimum" requirement, as I cannot afford it, and will continue to pay what I have been every month that is within MY budget.
This is not a collection agency... YET. It is just Summa Health System's attempt to get you to either set up a payment plan, or pay in full. Unfortunately the calls will continue unless you do one or the other.
