SCAM! They will try to scam you over kijiji.ca or other sites by sending a fake paypal notification. Tell them you prefer cash and no answer.

I got a text from this number same story about they would pay via paypal and she/he gave me a name: Stephanie A Smith

I have same number keep texting me  i ask him or her where this from say's Quebec not until i google this number, even asking if im for real or fake what the [***], sorry  but i say im the one who ask that questions thanks for those message.

I have posted an ad in Kaiji to sell a iphone and this guy said he will buy the phone. I sent it via Canada Post and he supposed to pay me via PayPal, he used a fake PayPal email to send me all the confirmations saying money has arrived. Next morning he said PayPal need him to pay another $500 to completion the transition, later he used the PayPal to confirm all funds has arrived. Then he asked me to refund $500 to him through Western Union Bank. I shared this matters is I don't want other person has the same scam happen.

These days, there really a lot of scam happen all the time, please be careful.

This piece of [***] just wanted to buy an item I posted on Kijiji and offered to pay me extra.

Perhaps I should have noted his address and publicized it...
