Called identified himself as Jerry calling about my recent accident. Could I call him back at 1-866-774-0194 he is calling on behalf of Dr. Balintyne. I didn't call back
"Jerry" called on behalf of "Dr. Floris" regarding the automobile accident I was in. Another third party scamming victims of accidents. My number is on the Do Not Call list and I have reported these calls.
"Jerry" called from the Neck and Spine center, or at least that's what he told me. He wanted to know if I had any lasting effects from a recent car crash. I asked him if he was affiliated with my ins co or the ins co of the person who hit me. He said no, he was from a "designated service center." I asked, designated by whom? He said, I don't really know. That's when the alarm bells went off. Jerry is obviously fishing for bait and I wasn't interested in the hook. Asked "Jerry" and his friends to never call me again. He said, oh, they won't, and hung up. Phone indicates call from Ohio.
Sounds like the pain cream insurance scam. It's where they ask you if you are in pain & do you want to try something else. They get your doctor & insurance company information. Doctor signs the scripts, you get little jars of cream, your HMO gets billed $20,000. Reported on CBS.
I received a call today from Jerry who was calling on behalf of Dr so and so regarding my accident. I haven't even received my police report yet. Did not give out my number. He sd to return call to 866-774-0194 but called from 330-460-4742. Ambulance chaser!!!!!
