This is one of those myths that won't go away. If a scammer from India spoofs their phone number to area code 202, do you say "Yup, another Washington, DC scammer". No you don't. You say "Another fake call from a foreign, or domestic criminal trying to steal money from me". I could make your caller ID say "Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan" if I wanted to. Dude relax, the point is that the calls are a huge nuisance and we want them to stop. Canada will always suck so why take it so personal... I don't give a flip what's on sale! I don't care where the call is coming from just want it to stop!
