I received two calls from this "company", one from this number and one from another. Both claimed it was a payday loan from 2009 which was not taken out. I was threatened with being taken to court and told that I could not settle now, unless through court. I was informed that they would be coming for me at my play of employment and residence. After researching their company (Provision Risk Services) and the plaintiff who they said was the payday loan company (PIOR, LLC), no information was online about either. They demanded payment by credit card only, no debit card, personal check or bank check. They also contacted my parents phones, as well as brother and sister in law about me. I requested a number for the loan company which they could not supply, as well as a written statement sent to my residence which they also could not supply, they said they were not authorized to do so. I then informed them I was contacting my local law enforcement agency and would like to set up a meeting to get the court summons papers from them to which they replied they could not and to have a good day then hung up. Complete scam!

He had a lot of my personal info, which is scary to know, and he used it to try to scare me.  He threatened "his client" will take me to court.  I asked what it is about after he read a long list of "legal violations" I have made.  He said I took a loan out and never paid it off when I was given the option to pay in five installments.  I don't recall making this kind of agreement, even though I do remember I had taken a payday loan out in 2008 just as he claimed.  I asked him how much it was, he said $450.  I don't know why I would ever take out such a small amount but found it plausible.  I asked him what the statue of limitation is in Ohio for debt - he said it is January of this year (note that it is currently May) but then backtracked and said it doesn't apply and there isn't a statute of limitation (that's a lie).  I asked if I can call the company to resolve this.  He said no it has to go through him.  I asked why I was never notified, he said letters were sent to an address I didn't recognize.  He knew I had moved but didn't know why they didn't mail to the new address I moved to.  He had my current phone number but couldn't call that prior to legal action apparently.  He said it shows the amount was deposited into *My Current Bank Account Name* specifically, which I do use as a primary account.  I asked him for the last four digits of the account number (which I have had since 2008 and never changed) and he gave me an entirely wrong number.  I asked him to send me a final notice or a document of some sort stating my debt to my new address - he refused and said that's not how it works.   I asked if I could do more research on this matter (with intent to look at my credit report, which I've never seen a debt for a payday loan on since I last checked last year) and he said no, once we hang up it gets processed to court.  I asked him what type of company he is calling from - he wouldn't give specifics and just said he is an arbitrator from the state of Ohio.

They keep calling a relative of mine repeatedly.  I finally called them to see what it was all about and they told me it was in regards to a payday loan from 2008 and that they were an arbitration firm hired to collect the debit.  They said I owed some where around $700.  They were extremely rude and just from the information that was told to me, you can tell its not legit.  I blocked the number I called and they called from another number very similar, about 2 hours later.  Do not answer!
