Who called from 3305486566

I received a call from 330-548-6566 (Kent, Ohio) and because I live here, I thought it was my son using another student's cell phone number to call me. He was at a performance that had not yet started and I thought he may have forgotten something at home. I answered and a young lady (sounded like she could be high school age) said hello? I responded hello. She said ...hello? like she hadn't heard me. I said hi still thinking it was a high school friend of my son's calling for some reason. I thought I heard typical conversation happening in the background. There was a click sound and I thought she'd hung up but then she giggled and said something must have been wrong with her phone, apologized, and that she was Emily and was calling because I had stayed at one of their resorts recently. I immediately hung up and blocked the number. I can't remember if I said that's okay or okay when she said the headset thing after thinking about it some more. The caller sounded like a real person initially and called from my city, state, and area code so these scams are getting pretty realistic. I almost never answer a call even from my area if I don't recognize it so it was just a fluke that I thought it may be my son. I wanted to report it in case others in this area see a call from this number. Block it if you can and ignore it otherwise!

Scam  nuisance call.  Changed gas supplier recently and think either the company I dropped or the one a added gave my number out. Sound familiar to anyone?

Multiple calls from this number. Most of the time I let it go to the machine and there is never a message. But since I live in the 330 area I have answered the call twice now. It sounded like a real person to begin with, but, like the report earlier, the caller said she was having trouble with her headset. Also claimed I stayed at a resort of theirs in the past and was entitled to a vacation. (I have never stayed at a resort). When I tried to interrupt to request no more calls, the recording just kept going.
