According to the callers above, NationStar who now hold a mortgage we have thanks to our bank selling it to them but we get calls from them identifying them but these Ravenna, OH started last week and never a message is left. Not happy with our mortgage being sold without a chance to check out the new holder and it seems they are not the most honest or favorable of companies. We are retiring in a few years and don't want to restart another mortgage so we have told them not to call but they seem to have call centers who do not get the requests - don't you just love people like this?????

First call was 29 Sep 2016 at 4:04pm, called 2-3 times a day on the 29th, 30th and 1st. Left no message.
Picked up today 1 Oct 2016 at 4:59pm but didn't say anything for 10 seconds, received only dead air. Finally said "hello" got another 10 seconds of dead air then it disconnected.
I do have Nationstar Mortgage as my mortgage holder (other callers mentioned this as the # owner when they made contact), so this is mostly likely a new number they are using to robo dial with to sell refinancing / home insurance / whatever they try to sell to get extra revenue. They've been doing this for a couple weeks at a time every couple of months every since they bought my mortgage from Bank of America.

Nationstar will start calling you 3-4 day after your 'due date' on your payment, even though it's not late for 15 days. This is NOT the number that calls you for payments, it is a NEW number they are now calling from to sell you 'extras' for your mortgage.
Bank of America sold my mortgage to these guys about 3-4 years ago. I just stuck to the same payment schedule and have had no issues other than they call 3-4 days after your due date to harass you for payment even though it's not over due for 15 days and every couple months you will get calls 2-3 times a day for a couple weeks with them trying to sell you refinancing options or other 'extras' for your mortgage. Bank of America never did that with me.
I have heard issues though that if your insurance or property taxes are NOT escrowed into your mortgage payment they will som how mess that up causing you to have insurance and tax issues.
Mine are escrowed in and I haven't had any issues.
