I answered the call and a woman said, "Hi, this is Sara (I think) and I am calling you about your IRS tax debt." She then hung-up. I have no tax debts and she never bothered to ask who I was before asserting I did have such a debt, so I'm going to assume this was a cold call from scammer or telemarketer.
[***]...I'm getting these too! I would NOT advise answering or calling back! If you press their any keys on your phone to "unsubscribe" you might actually being agreeing to a hidden purchase or authorization! That's how they got my husband for some stupid joke line subscription. Had to call Verizon and have the charges removed and block acceptance of these lil buggers. Be warned! :)
