Trolling seniors with offer of free pendant to detect when they fall so they can sell you a monthly alarm service. ("Help ... I fell trying to get to the phone." :D) Gotten these before even though I'm on DNC list.
If there is anyone watching who knows about telecommunication devices, I would like to know how these auto-dialers interpret a phone that partially rings once and then hangs up on them. Is that construed as a valid number? I know if an answering machine picks up, the number gets flagged as valid, but what if it rings once and only partially? And this is referring to a land line which is hooked to a panasonic phone for blocking of idiots.
