Called, didn't leave a message and the number is not showing anything when I googled it. I know who I owe money to, and it have no idea who this could be. Needless to say, blocked.

I got a call from this number but they left no message. When I called the number back, a recording comes on saying please enter the 10 digit phone number we contacted you at. When I didn't do that a few seconds later some woman comes on the line saying " This is (gives her 1st name) how may I help you?" She does not mention the name of the company that has this number, nor does the recording mention it when I called. I told the woman that " any legit debt is 1st addressed by the company that an individual owes money to, via snail mail------not by crooks like you! I then told her to get a life, & get a REAL JOB & stop invading my privacy", then hung up. Why doesn't the FCC do something about these companies that make these annoying calls?
Got a call from this company who stated they were just doing "data verification" for a 3rd party whom they refused to identify. I spoke to someone by the name of Aaron who simply wanted confirmation of my phone number. I believe this could be a scam to sell my number to other companies for solicitation purposes or other uses. I told the caller that my number was listed on the Federal Do Not Call Registry and he seemed clueless to that comment; he may be too young to know what I was talking about.
