If you get another call, tell her that you want a debt validation notice sent to you by US Mail, if she says no, then the debt is more than likely fake.
If she says see you in court (highly doubtful), say "OK"!
Total scammers and information thieves! Call the FTC and file a complaint if you were called! They stole my ssn and old file info, had an old address and would not send me anything written and hung up when I continuously asked for written proof! These people are preying on you-fight back!! They couldn't even tell me how much the debt was for and bluntly demanded $4000 even. Don't let them steal more info-use credit alert with the credit bureaus too!
I received a voice mail a couple of days ago from this person. She threatened me and said I have a case number to. Today she called my family members and left a voice mail on their answering machine about me and this situation. I don't know what it's about, but leave my family out of it!!!
She said her name is TRACY LONG FROM THE CHECK AND FRAUD DIVISION.
