So I was kind of bored today. I was scrolling through my phone and found an old CL spammer from weeks ago. I decided to google his number to get some background info on this guy and found this page. After a while, I sent him a number of texts following up on his previous messages to me. Here's a piece of the transcript:
330: I will like to know if this item is still available for sale? Schwinn Men's World Sport 10 Speed 1980's 58 cm - $250 (USF / panhandle)
me: Yes it is
330: (1/3)Hi, Good its still for sale.I am willing to pay your asking price.I will pay you with Cashier
330: (2/3)etc. etc. etc.
330: (3/3)etc. etc.
<one month later>
me: Hey man are you still coming by to pick up the bike?
me: I still have it here in my garage.
me: How did that business emergency go?
me: I would really prefer cash.
330: You have the wrong #
me: No, I have the correct number.
330: Well your texting the wrong person
me: You sent me: <(1/3) ...etc.>
me: <(2/3) ..etc.>
me: <(3/3) ..etc.>
me: So I'm just replying to your previous messages that you sent me.
me: I hope the business emergency was resolved.
330: I really don't know what you're talking about please stop
me: Oh I have a bike for sale that you replied to. It's a men's road bike. It's a schwinn.
me: 58cm frame. It is in very good condition.
me: $250. I can meet you whenever. My schedule is pretty flexible.
330: [***] you stop texting
me: Whoa whoa whoa
me: Easy there friend..
me: If you don't like me texting you, then maybe you shouldn't have tried to pull a fast one on me (and a few other people) through Craigslist.
