Recording: "Hello! This is Rachael from card services calling about your credit card...." That is the point where I hung up on the obvious robotic message.
This spam call came with caller ID from an Akron, Ohio 928 exchange and tne name of, "Rouse David E," displayed. I believe this is spoofed caller ID injected to make the csll appear to have a local origin. The exchange 928 is an AT&T wire line exchange. A lot of times these spam calls come from numbers assigned burner cell phones. This call is somewhat unusual because it came from a spoofed wire line number.
