Agreed, just got the same phone call from a nasty woman saying something about going forward with litigation for breach of contract against my husband and something about a magazine and the year 2012. I would really like to be able to hold these companies accountable for their harassment.
Keep leaving harassing messages about a breach of contract and that I have been served or I have been notified. I called back after the first message to see what it was about to be told it was a magazine subscription from 2006 and that I owed $200+ for it? They couldn't tell me what magazine or anything else. I asked for them to send me the contract I was in breach of via mail or email or I was refusing to pay it. If i owe something by all means I will pay it, but I didn't think I was out of line for asking for proof that I owed it. Definitely a scam, beware.

I just received the same phone call. Very rude woman called my cell phone, wanted to talk to my husband and I ask who she was? She rattled off something that made no sense. I ask her again and she said, she was a collection agency. I ask what this was in reference to, she said, unfortunately, she could not tell me. I told her that unfortunately, in that case, I could not let her talk to my husband. She elevated to her extreme rudeness and said she would proceed with litigation.
