Just received this call marked " Billing Department" on the caller ID.
After listening to the taped information, stating: I may be elligible to receive
"The Newly Re-established Discount on your Dominion Gas Bill";
I waited for the "live representative" to come on.
She wanted all the info from my gas bill, which I DID NOT tell her.
Instead, I asked if this was Dominion Gas Company. She promptly hung up.
I do not have Dominion Gas, and decided to see what this "possible scam" was all about.
Yepper, it is a scam trying to suck information from trusting folks.
This scammer could potentially add their utility bill to your bill, if you give them the billing and account info off of your utility bill.
