I just received this text from this number:
"How are you doing ?,My Name is Dave Walker, i need a photographer and i will like to know your availability day in August ,2015 just 5 hours service and do you accept credit card as payment?"

I am a photographer, but I've been in business long enough to know when someone is a scammer!

I entertained the same text Jess received and asked for clarification on what exactly he wanted photographed (ie, indoors, outdoors, wedding, event, portrait, etc). His clarified he wanted a reception photographed on aug 15th and could pay upfront with credit card... but didn't ask for prior work samples nor what city/state. I'm in Phoenix AZ.

Received the same text message from 330-999-7794 as Jess above . . . I imagine we're in distant states, so our friend 'Dave Walker' aka d+mb+ss must be in need of a photographer in at least 2 states! LOL

I forwarded his texts to AT+T's spam number which is 7726.

"Hello my name is Dave Walker My Cousin Wedding Ceremony is Coming next 2 weeks so I need a DJ are you one and do you accept credit card ?"

I've been getting a lot of these scammers trying to pay with credit card and receive a refund before the credit card is rejected.  They've been texting from loads of different numbers and its always the same questions...

I received text messages from this individual asking for moving services. He claims to be in the hospital with lung cancer and need somebody to move his stuff without him ever being there. He seems unfazed by the fact that we need somebody to supervise the moving. He also insist the only way to proceed is for me to take his credit card now charge $500 and then somebody who we can not know their name will be there. No matter what options are presented to him, he insis the absolute only way is for me to charge his credit card $500 immediately although our services will not even cost that much.
