"Jan" called. The slightly stilted speech was a dead giveaway for a robot using speech recognition. I started asking "are you a robot or a person?" expecting the fake laugh-off followed by "I'm a real person", but "Jan" started talking right over me. That's when I hung up. If only we could block numbers on our work phones.
