I posted an ad on craigslist and 10 minutes later, i get a text from this number saying they are interested. So i replied saying they can come and see the item in my house if needed. I get another text saying the same first message saying they are interested in my item. And immediately followed by a text saying they want it and would like to use paypal. I figured out this was one of those nigeria african scammers and sent a text back saying im registereing this number with the FBI list, the text stops.
WATCHOUT Folks, they want a low cost used item and want to pay for it by paypal.
Got the same message yesterday, I was trying to sell a sofa and this "Theresa" said on the text message she is a flight attendant at American Airlines and had the same history as Hanna and SJC Reported.... I'm not replying back...
Same thing - posted some furniture on Craigs List and an "airline attendant" is going to send a payment and pick it up.
I hope folks don't fall for this.
