We have had at least 3 calls a day for weeks from this number 339-244-7237. Always 3 rings and no message is left. In the beginning, we said "hello" but nobody was ever there and now that we recognize the number on the caller ID, we never pick up. The Concord, MA, police called the number for us, only to find out that it´s not in service. They said it´s probably a call generated by computers overseas, often from India or Africa, and the police did not think house burglary is something we have to worry about due to these calls. They advised us to contact Verizon to see if they can block the number for us. We have been on the Do Not Call list for years, but that list only stops legit companies and this is not a company.
They said they want to "re-inspect" the neighborhood after the big winter storm last winter.
We probably should have an inspection but the way they say it, it sounds like they've already inspected. I asked and they admitted they haven't seen my house yet.
Said I wasn't interested but it almost sounded legitimate.
