I got an email from someone claiming to be Advance Cash America and this is their legal group called ACS Legal Group. huh? Don't know them, have never done business with them.
I just recieved the same e-mail today and I too have never done business with these people. Their definitly SCAMMERS and if you put their name "ACS legal group" into a search engine you will see that there are alot of complaints about them. I'm very surprised there are not more complaints on here about them. I always use this site to search phone numbers to see if people are on the up and up. I'm going to report them to the FTC. That's what others have done as well as posting it on a site I found when doing this search on them. Some even called them back and these ppl knew their last 4 digits of their social security number as well as other info. Must of stole it off their computer when they applied for something. Crap like this is scary and I'm not one to sit back and take it. This letter is very threatening that I got. All I can tell you is to report their butts and don't answer anything they ask of you to do. Take Care
I just got an email from them too saying I owed them $945. If I don't pay in 48 hrs I will owe legal fees of 4500+$. I have never had business with these people.
I have gotten two emails from them and have saved them to send as proof of them misrepresenting themselves and saying they put a red flag on my info with the u s goverment. Payday loan places have nothing to do with goverment and can be fined for emailing or calling people with threats like this. If anyone knows how I can send the email to the FTC me know by putting answer on this site
Received this email.I called the number and a Mike Jones answered. I t was not a Mike Jones-he was not an American. The dude that answered was some sort of Mid Eastern dude scammer.. I called a second time and no answer.
Email says the Dude is affiliated with ACS Legal Group and to call number 339-502-4300.
