You should be glad you were cut off. the caller wasn't from Microsoft, he was a foreign criminal trying to steal your money. Hopefully you didn't give him access to your computer as he probably installed malware, spyware, or worse on it. This is a well known scam . and you should have taken the time to read the other posts in this thread.

Got a call 2 times yesterday from an unknown name/number...same guy both times. Called me back after I told him his mother is ashamed of what he does for a living...and if my computer was sending them error messages he should know if it is on or off! Called today...same guy but on 347-098-4243. Hung up on me when I asked him if this was the same guy as yesterday. I did get the company name I Fix It repair service!
