received phone call from guy claiming to be an agent for the DEA (drug enforcement agency). He knew my name and my address and accused me of having drugs smuggled to my address from the Dominican Republic. My Id had recently been stolen so even though I figured it was a scam when he told me someone be by to arrest me in 15 minutes it was still unnerving. Nobody came and I contacted local police and they said it was most likely a scam. I received another phone call and they were threatening to file charges against me. They keep saying my name is coming up in some ongoing investigation, I assume the message today is to try to get me to send money but the police said that calling these numbers back could be leaving some large amount of money on my phone bill. My name is not listed so it is kind of scary. These guys are convincing, the other number is 202-239-5426.
