I got a call from "Mark Hender", (thick middle eastern accent), asking "is this B.O.S.S.? (the initials of my business), & asked how I would market his website. I said I would need to know more to determine what he needs and he said he only had $50 and would that be enough. I asked for his business name and website, he said he was mark_hender and he does plumbing and hvac and that his website was under construction. Asked where he was and he said New York . Started to sense something fishy so I said well the caller id said you are US Marketing 15 and he hung up. Called back & got a voice mail for Jessica Javier. They called on a number that I don't normally use for my business. Funny that as I was typing this, got a call from a cell phone, 347-580-9848, but silence on the line when I answered. Don't know what they are up to but looking forward to messing with them & getting more info if they call back. Seemed more like a prank call but they got mad at me and hung up when I called them on it. Haha
A man with a foreign accent called and asked for the boss or manager. When I told him I was the office manager he said OK I will try to contact via email and then hung up. Surprise for him, I also handle all the emails. Can't wait to respond to his email. If they are making sales calls, they are really bad salesman.
