This scam, & varies others under different #'s but same name. They call 5-7x's, either hang up or make calls early AM.& Late PM. Don't answer & they keep calling, free grants, credit card reduction, pay offs, computer issues, arrest warrant front I RS. It is 3-4x's a day. 2-5 x's a week. I wish someone would do something about this. I am getting rid of home phone because of this. That way I will just have this problem w 1 phone. It really is rediculos ,they often don't change their caller ID name, but have different scams. I will come hmm to 5 hang ups which makes recordER have busy tone, &/or messages of scams.
The Do Not Call list prevents legitimate telemarketers from calling you. Criminals are not legitimate and could care less about the Do Not Call list. That's why I use a call blocking device/telephone.
