This is a business and this collection agency has been calling NONSTOP for 1hour and 16 minutes, we got everything on video including his harrasment and threads. we already file a complaint with the FTC and the district attorney.
They keep calling me telling me they are going to sue me because I lied and have three loans with them and crap but it is all lies. I have no idea how to stop them. They are always Indian with really bad english and you can never understand anything they tell you.
I received a call from this number today. "Peter Brown" (who had a very thick Indian accent) wanted my husband to call him back immediately. I asked where he was from and he said American Loan Department or American Law Firm. There is a legitimate law firm by the name of "American Law Firm" however they are located in TX and have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission against these folks using their name. This happened months ago with a different phone number and the person at the other end was very nasty. I called the Bar Association in TX and they said that there was no such person licensed in the state of TX to practice law and certainly no one at American Law Firm by that name.

Then if and when they call again...tell them that you have reported them to the FTC and to never call you again. If they do call again...call the FTC back and they will make another notation on your record.
