I have just received another IRS scam call from phone brb 347 395 4833. telling me I owe and they have a lawsuit against me. Dan I got two from COLFAX last night
I got the exact same thing - 2 scam calls from colfax wa saying the IRS had a lawsuit against me threatening to put a warrant out for my arrest. Then calls from this number in new york the next morning. I called the IRS - they said its a scam and asked that these numbers be reported to their fraud hotline at 800-366-4484 or on their website. Don't give the callers any information, or verify any personal information.
The man I talked to said I am a defrauder and have underpaid my taxes for 5 years and that I have a federal lawsuit against me. He said a sheriff would be on his way to take me to jail....this is so uncool
