There is a warrant out for my arrest and " before anything goes wrong: I need to call her back. if I don't call back, the lady named Linda Jordan, will fax paperwork to my local Police department and have me arrested. (Indian accent)
This is the second time that I've received a call like this. Don't answer, don't call back! (and NO, I'm not in trouble with the IRS, LOL)
called few minutes ago, left a VM and then called 3 more times. I did not respond to any of the calls, and the VM states that she is from IRS and there is a warrant out for my arrest. Lady with indian accent. I believe they called from different numbers before. TOTAL SCAM... IRS mails and does not call from 347.
Just phoned my cell 3 times in a row, voicemail left stated similar to other reports: LInda Jordan from IRS with warrant for my arrest & asked for me by name. COntact her before anything goes wrong. If you call back to this number a male voice says: "thank you for calling the IRS please stay on line", then disconnects! Same LInda person called 1 week before from different #. Also called my house phone after the cell; husband answered & told her to give him her personal SS# so he could verify HER info LOL! Asked to speak to her supervisor & got huge argument that officers would be on the way to my home to arrest me LOL. I'll just wait right here to get arrested!
Just got a call from Steve Truss, British accent, wants a call back ASAP as there is a warrant pending for my arrest. This is the second time in 4 months a scammer called stating they were from the IRS. Reported the last one to the IRS and FBI, that caller was fro Florida this one from NY. I'll wait for a call back and answer it as the Office of Congressman Wolfe, 11th District Virginia. Be careful of these guys last time I played with them they had a fake background noise which sounded like a very busy office with many phone discussions with IRS investigators. They moved on to settling the case for $6K and wanted a credit card number.
