"Michelle Barker" called and left a voicemail:
She said she with the IRS and was calling about a legal case in my name regarding a case of tax evasion. And if she doesn't hear back, she'll be forced to take the case to the courthouse.
Her voice had a thick Spanish accent and it was hard to understand. There was a lot of noise in the background, as if it was a call center and not an IRS office.
She called my cell phone, which is on the FTC and State of FL Do Not Call List.
They claimed to be an IRS investigation division. They said that 2 letters were sent to me to my former address and they were going to get the police to arrest me because I didn't reply to those letters. They said that I was supposed to notify IRS each time I move which is not true. They asked me if I needed a public attorney. I verified with the IRS and I am sure it is a scam.
Do not talk to these people. I just spoke with Texas Attorney General office and it's a scheme. You would know if the IRS was investigating you. IRS does NOT make such calls. These people eventually will get their KARMA from upsetting people. Low pigs!
