I received a call yesterday from an officer Bennett from the IRS, this person told me I owed the IRS and transferred me to a Paul White whom had the authority to help me fix this problem. I know I don't owe the IRS its definitely a scam, these two were definitely foreign.
Received a voice message from 347-467-1203 stating: "Return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. I am Officer Nikki Johnson from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my division is (347) 467-1203. I repeat, it’s (347) 467-1203. Don’t disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care." I am always current on my taxes, have never received calls from the IRS, and should never be receiving phone calls from the IRS. Also, the message was an automated recording.

Message left was a women's voice recording saying she was from the Internal Revenue Service. Recording said I needed to call this number 347-467-1203 regarding a time sensitive matter so as this would not require further action. If I do not return this call asap further action would be taken.
I know that I don't owe the IRS or have had any problems with my taxes. I also know that the IRS never calls anyone..
Robotic voice left me a message that she was Nicki Johnson of the IRS and the matter was extremely time sensitive and I needed to call back before they took any action against me. Message was left on my company cell phone which I never give out to the IRS so I know it was fraudulent. The IRS would never call you in any case - they would send you a letter.
This number called our law office today! I began questioning the lady who was not NIckie and she was looking for one of the attorneys. Definitely SCAM! Do not call back to this number which is listed for Brooklin, NY and the lady is definitely foreign. Don't fall for this one!
