I got a text message on my smartphone about the same scam offering me to test and keep an iPad3. All i would have to do is go to theipad3.mobi and give them my personal information which they say they will share with third party companies. Nice that the at least tell me they will give all my information to every spam scammer out there...
I got an offer to test the new iPad3 and keep it after. When I checked it out it suddenly changed to offering the new iPhone 5... cant even get their scam story straight?
Text Message received early this morning:
"Apple is looking for people to Test & Keep the New iPad 3! But only the 1st 1000 users that go to http;//theipad3.mobi and enter code BETA will Receive it!"
Hasn't' the 3rd iPad been released - and by the way, it's not call the iPad 3! Who knew. So don't fall for BETA testing anything - especially when it's already been released. Ugh. They didn't even do the http address right. Who uses a semi-colon?
