Was told my computer was sending random error messages to a server center. Wanted to put me on a temp server. My cell phone number was never associated with my home computer as it is not mine. Not sure what the call was about. I hung up.
The usual scam call telling you it is Microsoft and that your computer is sending signals that indicate it has a virus etc on it.I get the same call several times a month. This time I asked the gentlemen with the India accent where he was located and he said Texas. Ha. I told him my computer in spite of what he was seeing - worked fine. He said good-bye and hung up.
